I am also licensed as a Backflow Prevention Device Inspector/Tester in the state of Maine.

Prior community/civic involvement or experience: I have served on the Kittery Water District Board of Trustees for 13 years. I have volunteered my professional services to the Kittery Police Department, Kittery Fire Department, Kittery Sewer Department and Kittery Town Offices. Assisted our neighboring Pop Up NH project.

Experience/knowledge relevant to serving as Kittery Water District trustee: I am a member of the New England Water Works Association, Maine Rural Water Association and the Maine Water Utilities Association. I have experience in water treatment systems and as a Trustee have visited multiple treatment plant facilities in Maine as well New Hampshire and Massachusetts to assess their operations. I have worked in conjunction with Wright Pierce Engineering regarding on site pilot studies to explore a new plant and treatment options. Our current sand filtration system outperformed the pilot studies. As a member of the previous board it was decided to upgrade our current facility due to the expense of a new plant.
